Overview
If you don't want to take a car and don't plan on spending too much time on the island, take the Island Queen. It's a 30-minute trip to Oak Bluffs where you can walk around the town, go to the beach or rent bikes to go to Edgartown or Vineyard Haven; about seven trips are made a day, nine on the weekends.

Since you're not taking a car, tickets are only $12 round-trip for adults, $6 for kids 12 and under; there's an extra $6 if you take your bike. Parking in Falmouth runs about $15 a day.
